As Bella entered her senior years, Marion became increasingly focused on supporting her digestion and mobility. Bella also developed mild liver issues, which required careful dietary management.

In October 2025, Bella faced another major health scare when she collapsed in the dog park. Vets discovered internal bleeding from a 6cm tumour on her spleen, and she underwent emergency surgery to remove both the tumour and her spleen.
Amazingly, this little 16-year-old miracle dog pulled through - returning home the very next day and back to her daily walks and playtime within just two weeks.
Biopsy results revealed the tumour was a hemangiosarcoma (a blood cancer), but Bella continues to defy expectations. Under the care of Dr John Ryan, an integrative cancer specialist, she’s now on a holistic treatment plan including Chinese herbs, immune support, acupuncture, and a low-starch diet.
